2010 Winter Olympic blog is an online publication site for the Toronto District School Board for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. Travel writer, comedian and Kew Beach JPS parent Brian Coughlin took his family, with sons Quinn and Evan, to Vancouver and Whistler for the Winter Olympics and shared stories behind the Olympics while the festivities took place.

It was a board-wide initiative, aimed at students (primarily grades 1-6) as well as teachers and parents. The blog also featured a Teachers’ Lounge where teachers from across the TDSB could come together to share lesson plans and discuss ways of integrating the Olympics into their curriculum.

SocialDeck needed a new brand identity and user interface. Shake & Spell was introduced for the iPhone and Facebook last fall. It currently has over 500,000 users!
